Born and raised in South Australia, Lilly brings a perspective shaped by both her Eritrean heritage and contemporary Australian society. Her work is informed by a strong interest in how identity, visibility, and perception operate within media and public life areas of increasing relevance in national conversations around culture, representation, and belonging.

Lilly entered the creative industries as a teenager after being scouted into modelling, an experience that sparked a broader interest in narrative, performance, and public communication. Rather than confining herself to a single discipline, she has built a multidisciplinary career across film, media, and live presentation, developing a strong understanding of how stories are constructed, delivered, and received by diverse audiences.
She studied film and media and has professional experience in broadcast and youth-focused media, including work with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) as a BTN News reporter. Alongside this, Lilly established herself as a professional host and MC, with more than seven years of experience delivering live and broadcast content across universities, community organisations, and professional sporting environments. Her work is defined by clarity, composure, and the ability to engage audiences with confidence and intention.
As Miss World South Australia and first runner-up, Lilly aligns closely with Miss World Australia’s emphasis on purpose, representation, and global perspective. She views the platform as an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to public discourse - recognising the responsibility that comes with visibility and the role storytelling plays in shaping understanding.
Lilly’s Beauty With A Purpose centres on the arts as a vehicle for exploring and articulating the human experience. Through film, media, and performance, she seeks to create considered narratives that examine identity, self-perception, and inner life, encouraging audiences to engage thoughtfully rather than reactively. Her approach prioritises nuance, cultural awareness, and storytelling that reflects lived realities without simplification.

Looking ahead, Lilly aims to continue developing a career that bridges creative practice and public engagement. By working across disciplines and platforms, she seeks to contribute culturally relevant, socially aware work - using storytelling not as autobiography, but as a means of observing, interpreting, and expressing shared human realities.
